Hidden Sparks Heads Down South
We are excited to announce that we will be bringing our professional development programs to the Boca Raton, FL yeshiva and day school community through our new partnership with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. The programs are supported by a generous education grant provided by the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education.
“We are pleased to be partnering with Hidden Sparks to provide vital training for instructors to help students with learning differences to reach their full potential in school and life,” says Jason Cury, president of CIJE. “Hidden Sparks is meeting an important need in the Jewish day school community and we are happy to provide support and assistance as part of our mission to help all Jewish day school children succeed.”
This partnership, under the JFSBC department of School Educational Services, led by Director Marilyn Nachman, will bring the Hidden Sparks Learning Lenses course and Internal Coach training to the five local schools: Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Hillel Day School of Boca Raton, Torah Academy of Boca Raton, Weinbaum Yeshiva High School, and Yeshiva Tiferes Torah of Boca Raton.
Hidden Sparks will be delivering its course this winter and new coaches will begin receiving mentoring in the spring. We would like to thank Marc Kramer at Ravsak who helped to connect Hidden Sparks to the Boca Raton community.
