The workshop combined small group work and large group discussion to help the teachers gain an appreciation of the importance of observing students’ strengths and weaknesses and to provide a better understanding of the neurodevelopmental constructs.

Barbara Deutsch, Assistant Principal, feels strongly that “Dr. Sara Reichman is helping HANC faculty to collaborate using  a common language and creating an environment where children can grow emotionally and academically.” In turn, Dr. Reichman commented, “It was very gratifying to see the teachers involved and interested in learning strategies to help their students start off the year successfully!”
