July 2014 -Hidden Sparks is honored to  have been awarded a grant from the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation to support its Internal Coach Program. Hidden Sparks and the Polinger Family Foundation, which supports programs that enhance affiliation and identification with Jewish culture and heritage, preserving and protecting Jewish life, locally, nationally, and internationally, have a history of partnership as the Foundation was one of the initial supporters of Hidden Sparks’  Learning Lenses course. “ThePolinger Foundation is pleased to award a grant to Hidden Sparks as it promotes and supports inclusive education within the Jewish sector. The work of Hidden Sparks allows more Jewish children to benefit from a Jewish education, thereby strengthening Jewish life in the wider community,” says Lorre Polinger, President of the PolingerFamily Foundation. The award will allow for the training of 10 Internal Coaches, who will receive a stipend as they participate in school-based mentoring and ongoing professional development opportunities.
