We are excited to announce the launch of a Parent Education Center (PEC) in Queens. The program is the first in the borough to serve parents within the yeshiva and Jewish day school community. Through a virtual center with a dedicated staff, parents will be eligible to receive guidance, counseling and participate in workshops at no cost if they have a child that receives DOE services through the Title I program in a NYC yeshiva or day school.

On February 7, 2021, 100 educators from 45 schools in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, and Rhode Island, and Israel participated in the annual Hidden Sparks Retreat held virtually. Sessions such as, Recognizing Anxiety in Myself and Others, Guided Relaxation Exercises, Building a Positive Psychological Toolbox and Personal Growth in Difficult Times, were a part of the day’s theme Nurturing Ourselves, Nurturing our Students.
